Erik Uszkiewicz had a meeting with Maria Zilincikova, representative of the Hague based Justice & Peace civil organisation on 25 October 2019 in Budapest. The aim of the meeting was to map the needs of Hungarian NGO-s in the current political climate.
Erik Uszkiewicz participated at a training program organised by the Ukrainian NGO Europe Without Barriers in Kyiv on 23 March 2019, a part of the "Promoting evidence-based media coverage of labour migration from Ukraine to V4 countries" project supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
Erik Uszkiewicz was also a speaker at the event We are Citizens' Agore organized by the Union of European Federalists on 23 February 2019 in Budapest.
Erik Uszkiewicz participated at a study visit organised by the European Commission Representation in Hungary held between 7 and 9 November 2018 in Brussels. Presentations of officials working for the European Commission and the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the European Union focused on the challenges facing the European Union like migration, Brexit and the new fiscal framework, as well as the relationship between Hungarian and European interests.
On 24 May 2018 the annual meeting of the Hungarian Europe Society elected Erik Uszkiewicz as vice-chairperson following the resignation of András Schweitzer.
Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the training of the Create/React program in Berlin in the framework of the European Citizen Rights project between 19-20 June 2015.
