What Do You Have to Know About the European Union?

Erik Uszkiewicz participated at a study visit organised by the European Commission Representation in Hungary held between 7 and 9 November 2018 in Brussels. Presentations of officials working for the European Commission and the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the European Union focused on the challenges facing the European Union like migration, Brexit and the new fiscal framework, as well as the relationship between Hungarian and European interests.

The Hungarian Europe Society participated in a survey conducted by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
István Hegedűs gave an interview to Klubrádió on 8 December 2017 about the public hearing in the LIBE Committee of the European Parliament on the situation in Hungary and the decisions of the European Commission to refer Hungary to the European Court of Justice over three infringement cases. 
On 24 May 2018 the annual meeting of the Hungarian Europe Society elected Erik Uszkiewicz as vice-chairperson following the resignation of András Schweitzer.
The European Citizens' Initiative (ECI) on Media Pluralism and Press Freedom was approved by the European Commission on 19 August 2013.
