On 11 February 2014, in Bratislava, the Selection Committee of the Danube Region established by the German Marshall Fund made interviews with the best Austrian, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak and Slovenian candidates nominated for a US study tour. István Hegedűs is a member of the committee. Enikő Pap was also present as one of the organisers of the event.
Pozsonyban tartotta 2014. február 11-én a German Marshall Fund amerikai tanulmányútjára jelentkező cseh, magyar, osztrák, szlovén és szlovák legjobb jelöltek meghallhatását a dunai régiós válogató bizottság, amelynek Hegedűs István is tagja. Pap Enikő az esemény egyik szervezőjeként volt jelen.
The Hungarian Europe Society, as the partner of the German Marshall Fund of the United States of America, was once again the organiser of the study tour of US fellows in Budapest between 22 and 26 March 2013. The guests had professional and political meetings, including presentations by HES members. Györgyi Kocsis made an introductory lecture on the Hungarian political development, whilst István Hegedűs spoke about Hungary as a member state of the European Union, and Zsuzsanna Szelényi talked about the political concepts of Együtt 2014 Movement.
The Hungarian Europe Society as the local partner of the German Marshall Fund hosted US fellows in Budapest on 6-11 July 2012.
