A Magyarországi Európa Társaság és a German Marshall Fund of the United States "Az autoriter populizmus árjával szemben - Európa-barát programmal Közép-Európában" címmel tartott rendezvényt a V4Europe projekt lezárásaként a brüsszeli Residence Palace-ban 2018. október 16-án. Előadást tartott Hegedűs István és Szelényi Zsuzsanna mellett Jávor Benedek, az Európai Parlament tagja, moderált Rosa Balfour, a GMF Európa Programjának vezető ösztöndíjasa.

A Magyarországi Európa Társaság 2018. június 7-én, csütörtökön nemzetközi workshopot rendezett "From Populist, Illiberal Political Narratives to Conspiracy Theories and Fake News in the Visegrád Region and Beyond" címmel a Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit támogatásával.

A workshopnak a Magyar Újságírók Országos Szövetsége biztosított helyszínt. Cím: H-1064 Budapest, Vörösmarty utca 47/A.

"Where Does the PERC-index Stand? or from EU Destructivists to Federalists: the Relationship of Hungarian Parliamentary Parties towards the European Union" is the title of the third report by the research team of the Hungarian Europe Society published on 24 March, 2018. Members of team are Fanni Bársony, Emma Gothár, István Hegedűs, Györgyi Kocsis, Kata Nagy, Zsuzsanna Németh, Monika Pál, András Schweitzer, Zselyke Tófalvi, Erik Uszkiewicz and Zsuzsanna Végh.
