"NGO-s can be important co-operative partners of the new local council; their expertise, volunteers and members are able to provide significant resources for fulfilling its tasks. A free and green capital needs civil groups" - claimed twenty NGO-s, including the Hungarian Europe Society, in a joint proposal on 22 November 2019.
"A civilek fontos együttműködő partnerei lehetnek az új önkormányzatnak, és szakértelmük, önkéntes és tagi bázisuk révén komoly erőforrásokkal támogathatják annak munkáját. Egy szabad és zöld fővárosnak szüksége van a civilekre!" - írta 2019. november 22-i közös javaslatában húsz civil szervezet, köztük a Magyarországi Európa Társaság.
Közös tiltakozó közleményt adott ki 2019. október 21-én a Civilizáció-csoportba tömörült 13 civil szervezet, köztük a Magyarországi Európa Társaság, miután a Nemzeti Média és Hírközlési Hatóság megszüntette a Civil Rádió frekvenciahasználati jogát.
On 15 July 2019 the Hungarian Europe Society signed a joint letter of protest published by European civil groups against the nomination of a Fidesz politician for the role of a Vice-Chair of the Committee on civil liberties, justice and home affairs of the European Parliament calling upon the group to review their choice.

Harmincöt civil szervezet, köztük a Magyarországi Európa Társaság, valamint Kaltenbach Jenő és Majtényi László volt ombudsman levélben fordult a köztársasági elnökhöz 2019. május 23-án. Azt kérik Áder Jánostól, hogy az esedékes ombudsman-jelölésnél nyílt pályázaton és a civil szervezetekkel is konzultálva nevezze majd meg jelöltjét az alapvető jogok biztosának posztjára.
