A Magyarországi Európa Társaság 2018. június 7-én, csütörtökön nemzetközi workshopot rendezett "From Populist, Illiberal Political Narratives to Conspiracy Theories and Fake News in the Visegrád Region and Beyond" címmel a Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit támogatásával.
A workshopnak a Magyar Újságírók Országos Szövetsége biztosított helyszínt. Cím: H-1064 Budapest, Vörösmarty utca 47/A.
The international workshop "From Populist, Illiberal Political Narratives to Conspiracy Theories and Fake News in the Visegrád Region and Beyond" organised by the Hungarian Europe Society and supported by the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit was held on 7 June 2018 at the conference room of the National Association of Hungarian Journalists (Vörösmarty utca 47/A, H-1064 Budapest).
István Hegedűs participated at the worskhop "Fragility and Resilience of Democracies in Europe. Where now for Citizenship Education and Civil Societies“ organised by NECE (Networking European Citizenship Education) in Gdansk on 12-13 November 2017. Analysing the political situation in Poland and Hungary, Hegedűs emphasised the all-European dimensions of the authoritarian turn in both countries.
Hegedűs István részt vett a NECE (Networking European Citizenship Education) "Fragility and Resilience of Democracies in Europe. Where now for Citizenship Education and Civil Societies“ című workshopján Gdanskban 2017. november 12-13-án. Hegedűs a magyar és a lengyel politikai helyzet értékelésekor a két országban történt autoriter fordulat összeurópai dimenzióira hívta fel a figyelmet.
A Magyarországi Európa Társaság nemzetközi workshopot rendezett 2017. március 18-án a Közép-európai Egyetemen "Reforming the EU - Central European Perspectives" címmel.
The Hungarian Europe Society organised an international workshop entitled "Reforming the EU - Central European Perspectives" at the Central European University, Budapest on 18 March 2017.
2011. december 29-én tartotta meg szokásos workshopját a MET, amelyen metesek tartottak előadást meteseknek.
2010. december 20-én az Európai Bizottság Magyarországi Képviseletének új épületében tartotta meg szokásos workshopját a MET, amelyen metesek beszéltek meteseknek aktuális magyar és európai kérdésekről.
