The answer by István Hegedűs to the question of Judy Dempsey "Is the Coronavirus Breeding Disinformation Across Europe?" was published on the blog of Carnegie Europe on 9 April 2020. According to Hegedűs, a potential trial based on the authorisation law against a Socialist mayor might show whether the Hungarian liberal democracy has arrived at its “Mohács” - the name serves as a general reference in Hungary to the catastrophic defeat in the battle against the Ottomans in 1526.

István Hegedűs was one of the experts who answered Judy Dempsey's question on Carnegie Europe's blog on 28 February 2018.
