On 21 June 2012, the Coalition for the European Continent Undivided by Visa Barriers, of which the Hungarian Europe Society is a member organisation, sent an open letter to Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy as well as to Cecilia Malmström, Commissioner for Home Affairs, calling upon the European Commission to propose progression of the Republic of Moldova to the second phase of the implementation of the Action Plan on Visa Liberalisation.
