Eastern Partners

Attila Melegh represented the HES at the recent Visa-Free Europe Coalition meeting in Warsaw on 2 July, which attracted 32 experts and activists from numerous countries.  Iurie Bodrug, Ambassador of Moldova to Poland spoke about the efforts of the country to achieve the visa-free status.

The strategy discussed in Warsaw targets the reluctant EU Member States. On the one hand, countries aspiring to the visa-free status could organise a roadshow. On the other hand, coalition member organisations could launch an information campaign in the Member States with particular attention to the media.

We, Visa-Free Coalition members require signing of an agreement on the Common Aviation Area between the European Union and its member states and Ukraine in the near future.
